Downtown Phoenix’s warehouse district is set to undergo a significant transformation with the introduction of a $100 million luxury apartment complex. The Amara, a seven-story apartment building, is planned to occupy the space between Grant and Lincoln streets, conveniently located near the Phoenix Mercury practice facilities and offices.

The project, spearheaded by New York-based developer Gallium, aims to appeal to young professionals by offering unique wellness amenities such as hyperbaric chambers. Jaf Glazer, Gallium’s managing director, emphasized that “it’s going to have distinct offerings, and it’s going to be generally just a higher echelon of building than other buildings built around it.”

Construction for The Amara is anticipated to commence in the fall or winter of 2026, with an expected completion time frame of 18 to 24 months.
