Arizona Set to Experience Cutting-Edge 4D Cinema with Harkins Theatres
Harkins Theatres is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking movie experience in Arizona, marking a significant evolution in cinematic technology. This summer, audiences will have the chance to engage with films in a whole new dimension.
The innovative 4D cinema experience goes beyond the visual spectacle of 2D films by integrating sensory elements. This includes synchronized motion seating, environmental effects, and even scents that align with the film’s on-screen action, offering an immersive experience.
The debut of Harkins’ first 4D theater is set for August at the Harkins Norterra location in north Phoenix. As Jessica Reeves, Harkins’ vice president of marketing, explains, “We always focus on quality presentation, great storytelling and the ultimate movie going experience. But we always like to do a little something extra for the guest. And we thought it would be really fun to add the 4D element.”
Currently, the pricing for this unique viewing experience has not been disclosed. However, the theater chain has ambitious plans to expand, with at least two more 4D theaters projected to open across Arizona.
