Major Pipeline Project Announced by Energy Giants

Two major energy corporations, Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan, are collaborating on a significant infrastructure project. The companies have unveiled plans for a gas pipeline that will span an impressive 1,300 miles, running from Borger, Texas, all the way to Phoenix.

This ambitious pipeline is set to integrate with an existing network to facilitate the transfer of fuel products to both Arizona and California. The strategic development responds to the decreasing refinery capacity in California, which has direct implications for Arizona’s gas supply.

Once operational, the pipeline will be capable of delivering a substantial 200,000 barrels of refined products daily to Arizona, helping to stabilize the region’s fuel supply. According to the project’s timeline, completion is anticipated by 2029.
