“As part of a pro-life, pro-family administration, HHS is dedicated to providing vital tools to support healthy pregnancies and strengthen young families,” stated HHS press secretary Emily Hilliard in an interview with Mother Jones. “The listed pregnancy centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) offer supportive services to expecting mothers.”
President Donald Trump and his administration held a White House press conference to unveil the site and discuss a Department of Labor rule to expand employer-provided fertility benefits. Mehmet Oz, CMS administrator, stated that “one in three Americans are under-babied,” meaning they have fewer children than desired. Trump dubbed himself the “father of fertility.”
