San Tan Valley Appoints Its First Mayor Following Incorporation
In a significant step for the rapidly growing community, the newly incorporated town of San Tan Valley has appointed its first mayor. Daren Schnepf, a member of the town council and relative of a local business owner, has been selected to lead the town.
The decision to incorporate was driven by the town’s substantial growth, according to Schnepf. “So that’s what’s important for us citizens to be able to have that opportunity to control and to say and to help direct how we want to live as a community,” he stated.
As the inaugural mayor, Schnepf aims to focus on enhancing the town’s infrastructure and boosting local business development, addressing key areas for the town’s future.
