Election Day is still weeks away, yet many residents in Michigan are already making their voices heard. Over 93,000 voters have submitted their ballots, underscoring the popularity of early voting options.
With absentee ballots distributed starting last week, nearly two million Michigan voters have opted for mail-in voting. The state’s records show that 1.3% of eligible voters, totaling 93,154 individuals, have participated in the election process so far.

The upcoming November general election is critical, with significant positions and proposals on the ballot. Michigan voters will make crucial decisions about their next governor and U.S. Senator, alongside various local offices and ballot measures.
For those interested in the gubernatorial race, Republican John James and Democrat Jocelyn Benson will engage in a live debate. Scheduled for Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m., the debate will be broadcast from Grand Rapids. Two days later, on Thursday, Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers will discuss their platforms in a U.S. Senate debate also airing from 7-8 p.m.
