Gas Prices Dip Nationwide Following Iran Peace Accord

Recent developments in international diplomacy have led to a noticeable decline in gas prices across the United States. Particularly in Arizona, motorists are experiencing relief at the pumps with an average price of $4.29 per gallon, marking a 19-cent decrease from the previous week. Despite this reduction, current prices remain a dollar higher compared to the same period last year.

According to Doug Johnson from AAA Arizona, the seasonal patterns of fuel demand might hinder further price drops. “Gas prices, because of supply and demand, usually stay pretty high ahead of holiday weekends. So with the Fourth of July coming up, we do anticipate that gas prices will stay about where they are,” Johnson remarked.

The cost of fuel varies significantly within different regions of Arizona. Graham County reports the steepest prices at $4.70 per gallon, whereas Pima County offers the most economical rate at $4.18 per gallon.
